Privacy Policy

Who is responsible

This site is a personal portfolio run by Rasim Ataberk Şahin (İstanbul, Türkiye). Questions about your data: istek.ataberksahin@gmail.com.

What I collect

Contact form: the name, email, subject and message you type. They are used only to reply to you and are not sold or shared for advertising.

Anonymous statistics: when you open a public page I count the page path, the site you came from (for example Twitter/X, GitHub or LinkedIn; only its host name), a coarse country code supplied by the hosting network, and which links or buttons are clicked. A one-way hash that changes every day is used only to count unique visitors per day; it cannot be linked across days, and your IP address, cookies or profile are never stored. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is counted.

Error reports: if a page crashes, a short technical message (no personal data) is logged so I can fix it.

Cookies and local storage

Only functional items are used: your language choice, your theme (light/dark), and progress or drafts of the tools you use (Color, QR, Text and CV studios), which stay in your own browser.

There are no advertising, tracking or third-party analytics cookies. You can clear these items at any time from your browser settings.

Tools run in your browser

Text, QR, color and CV tools process your input locally. What you type into them is not uploaded to a server.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the messages you sent through the contact form by writing to the email above. Under KVKK and GDPR you may also object to processing or file a complaint with your data authority.

Retention and changes

Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to answer and follow up. This policy may be updated; the date at the top of the page shows the latest version.
